When to go on babymoon?

I was 28 weeks pregnant which could not have been better timing for me. My bump was big enough to get cute pics ;) but not so big that I couldn’t easily get around. I was also in a phase of low nausea and high energy for the most part which allowed me to really enjoy the trip.

Everyone’s pregnancy journey’s are so different but for me, 28 weeks was the perfect sweet spot for the babymoon! If I ever go on another one, I’d try to plan on going between 24-29 weeks.

Carryon Essentials

Other Suitcase Essentials

These are a few other main suitcase essentials I had to share!

  • Away suitcase in salt white gloss

    • This is the larger carry-on size but you can also get the matching checked bag size.

    • For a more affordable but similar option, I would try the Hanke Set on Amazon. I did a bunch of research recently almost got this set when my Away suitcase cracked (but I ended up getting an Away replacement free with the lifetime warranty).

  • Babyliss Mini Straightener

    • It works great for me with thin hair and I love how compact it is. If you have super thick/long hair, you are probably better off with a full size one.

  • Skims boy shorts

    • I wear size L. M is probably my “correct” size but I love how the L doesn’t feel tight at all. These have been so comfy to sleep in during pregnancy!!

  • Skims thongs

    • I wear size L. M is probably my “correct” size but I love how the L doesn’t feel tight at all). I threw away all of my other thongs and will never go back - I’m obsessed with how light and soft these are.

  • Nipple Cover Stickers

    • I’m not a bra girlie. These are perfect for me to wear with dresses or any material that’s a little to thin to go braless.

  • Tevas Sandals

    • These are not the most stylish shoe but they are SO practical for the beach, especially if you’re somewhere that requires walking on rougher terrain to access the beach. They were amazing in Maui too because it made it easier to access waterfalls and you can keep them on to swim.
